350-380 bhp with standard pistons
will i get between 350-380 using standard pistons and an ATS TD05 or TD06 kit, as long as the setup is correct ie fuel and ignition timing, also using Apexi FC, greddy intercooler, Walbro fuel pump, cam gears and air, exhaust upgrades.
dont know whether to use nur spec or mongoose exhaust? forgot to mention its a rev3 turbo

think this has been mentioned quite a few times.
With a Rev 3 headgasket you should be fine with standard pistons, but dont expect them to last forever.

have thought about an upgraded HG, carn't see why u have to change the pistons if you upgrade the turbo and run high boost, as long as its mapped correctly and you keep an eye on things like exhuast gas temp, inlet air temp, boost pressure ect.
i see if you run every where at full boost, flat out racing every thing in sight things arent going to last, i had a rev2 with decat, airfilter, exhaust and standard IC running at 1.1bar with no problems for a year and a half untill i smashed it up ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

Other people know a lot more than me and there are stories of people running 400bhp on standard pistons.
Run them till they go and replace with forged ones.
Ive put forged in mine, only because i blew the engine.
Sounds like a tractor now

It can be done, but youd be better off using cams aswell and running less boost for that goal with stock pistons, they are good, but forged ones are better because they can handle alot more power and heat for longer periods of time, Jeff made 440rwhp on stock pistons, i expect them to be in quite a mess when the engine comes out.

Good tuning is the key as you have already stated.

I ran 304
(around 350 at the flywheel) at the hubs with a standard rev 2 engine
(apart from a metal headgasket).
So it is possible.
you get a bit of lag with the standard rev 2 head and cams but when the turbo hits.
