I recently bought a new headunit and it has 3 outputs for amps and a 4th titles aux, whats that for?
I know aux is auxiliary, but I hooked a walkman and my mp3 phone and they wont play through it.
Any one shed any light?
There's not even an option for an aux source though?
Got cd, radio and multichanger when it's plugged in.
I can get a lead that goes from the multi changer to either rca or 3.5mm jack.
Just don't get what the aux line is for?
Weird that you've got no option to select the aux input.
Unless...it only appears as an option when a signal is detected on that line?
Can you post a link to an online PDF manual (from the manufcturer website) for the headunit or something?

I wouldnt know where to look lol.
It's Kenwood one KDC 9351 something or other - the one with the colour display.
If you plug the multichanger in it says multi/aux as I can get a lead that plugs into rca/3.5mm jack.
Which is even more baffling as to why there's an aux input.
I might go to my local ice dealer and buy the lead so I can at least hook up my walkman and phone. When there I can ask what the hell the inputs for.
