A RR day for us southerners ?!? ***Prices on Page 3***

Hi all,

Just gauging interest on a RR day for us southern types. Thor is 130miles away from me etc so I thought I'd see if there is anywhere a little nearer to just run some basic power runs.

I live in Horsham, West Sussex but there is a TVR tuner called Austec in Crawley (near Gatwick), their website is here http://www.austec.co.uk/.

I've given them a call and they are happy to run a RR morning on a Saturday, but would need at least 10 cars. I think we should be able to rustle up 10 of us, but stick your name down if you would be interested.

Dont' know costs just yet, but it's basic power runs with no tuning so wont be a lot, and I'm sure the more cars the cheaper it will be.

I've never used Austec before, and I don't know if they have a generous or stingy reading dyno but be nice to get a RR readout whilst it's nice and cold I've also no dates in mind as my car is shortly to have a few bits fitted, and I don't want to RR it until they're all fitted (3" downpipe, WI, Walbro and Unichip - yummy !)

I'll be up for that, not had the car long, pretty standard (at the mo!) but i'd still be interested to know what she's got already.

I'm a newboy when it comes to RR days, is there anything i need to know or check before they make my 2 sound like its gonna blow up?!

2 Hour drive from me, whereas Crawley is about 30 minutes..

i'd like to come (missed the essex one as my car destroyed a piston ring on another dyno), but it is dependant on date as i'm waiting for parts to arrive so my car can be reassembled, then run in as quick as possible followed by a remap.

i wont be able to make it as i work saturdays(well, i might be able to depending usual-price and date etc..) but from what I hear Austec are good, my mate recommended then when i thought about getting mine done-only problem is if mines the only N/A there my figures will be a bit embarrassing!!!!
