REV1 to REV2 brakes

Post by GHOST »

What was the upgrade between the first 2 MK2 revisions. Was it bigger discs or both bigger discs and bigger calipers?

And if you wanted to upgrade would you have to buy both the discs and calipers?

Cheers,

David

Larger diameter and thicker front discs
Thicker rear discs

You'll need front and rear calipers, front and rear discs, caliper back plates (unless you bodge it by bending the originals).

And don't forget the front caliper mounting brackets.

Not quite that much, lol.

I will have a kit for sale soon. Reconditioned calipers, mounting brackets and choice of discs/pads.

done mine from rev1 to rev3.

i used rev3 calipers, disks, dust covers and front hubs. the rear calipers fitted on my rear hubs. dunno if the front ones will fit aswell, i ended up getting uk rear hubs instead of tubby, so i used my own instead
