Hey fellar, I'd hung around for an hour.... and it didn't look like it was going to change... but typical... drove away and the sun came out on the way back !

It was getting too dangerous for RWD cars... one run I spun the white turbo 3 times in anguish to put down a decent time - good job nothing was next to me !! It didn't loose grip, it started aquaplaning .. snapped and spun out !!

Fun though !! :-$

no first time id been to anything like this. thought it would be boring all this straight line stuff but was entertaining. didnt run my car though as it was pretty pointless with the strip being waterlogged but had a nice drive there and even better one back after the roads were drying.

came in a convoy with a couple of friends supra tt leading and impreza behind. was good fun.

Hi Michael

What is an RWYB? I'm hoping, subject to inspection, to get my 1st MR2 this week, and I'm still not up on the language on here! When will we know dates for next year?

Hi Marc - a RWYB is a "Run What You Brung" event, basically a drag event for people to take part in any old car as well as more specialised stuff.

Next year's dates will probably be a while coming but I'll post up as soon as I know any.
