Most of the interior panels are removed with a bit of simple tugging, but be careful not to be too heavy-handed otherwise you'll wreck the plastic clips that hold everything in place!
The other parts of the interior are removed like some sort of sliding block puzzle...you have to take off Part A before taking Part B off, and then you'll get access to Part C, etc.
Mk2 NA Rev1 -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev2 -*- Mk1 NA -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev 3 = all gone!

Firstlly you need to take out the cubby hole, then you will see two little push pin style clips on the panel infront of the speakers, push the middle in untill they click then pull the whole pin out. The rest of the panel then unclips with a little force. You may have to pull up your door sill plates aswell, again these are just clips so get your fingers under and pull up gently, being carefull not to cut yourself as they can have sharp edges!!!

chagin rear speakers

Post by Jode »

:? Right , i had ago at this, i removed the thing at the back of the armrest thinking it was the cubby hole, oops but hey its a quick thing to get on/off anyways. so i then removed the lid for the box thing behind the drivers seat, this was easy enough.
BUt i couldnt get the actuall box part of it out, it had three plastic things along the edge where the magnet is attached , these were retaining it to the car, i couldnt shift these and thery did move a little when i tryed to lever them up and out. :-k
This is where i gave up and put things back together and started on my front speakers instead. im enjoying that.

Neil_turbo if u can help me out with those pics u were gonna take this would be very helpfull as im truly stuck on this.
