next official one is 3rd november this thursday. 8pm onwards..

Personally I didnt mind too much about other jap cars being there as long as we have our 2 rows of spaces

Frank / MikeJC were going to chat to the Management there to see what could be done after a couple of MR2s (out of 20+) behaved badly and caused the event to be stopped by security there.

It doesn't look like its going to be possible to formally re-start it - I'll check with Frank though to see what's what currently.

this doesnt make sense, because as far as im aware, the bluewater meet HASNT stopped!!
everyone still goes bar the mr2s and 200sx club....
noone had been told to leave the meet and aparently upwards of 200 cars are now turning out on tuesdays without any problems.....

i agree should go back to being every two weeks - as long as everyone behaves i dont see a problem with why the bluewater owners wud mind

Hello Peeps !

Well the Bluewater meet has apparantly started up again with out the MR2 contingent..

it was stopped - or rather MikeJC had kindly requested we all stay away for a while untill he and an SXOC member could have face to face talks with security to let them know who we are and what we are about.

It would appear that the other car clubs have decided it's time to go back as it was proving just about impossible to get an audience with "the management".

Just to re-iterate - it was not stopped by Bluewater Security. One meet was requested to leave after some silly driving a while back and from then on MikeJC requested we hold off going back.

If the meet has started again without any MR2 involvement then as long as the meets are not being broken up by the security team each week (ie everyone is behaving themselves) i see no reason why people shouldn't go back.

Apart from the crap weather !


Hope that clears things up... I heard people went back a few weeks ago and were put off by 50 odd scooter idiots doing dohnuts around people's cars..

If that's happening each meet - then I personally will not be putting my car in harms way

Sorry for not picking up on this thread any sooner! I did make it known some time back that this meet was open to all that still wished to attend it. In all honesty I have not even given the meet a thought recently due to being so busy else where.

Hope you enjoy fella's.......and Lady's. Fingers crossed i'll make it along to one of the night's there sometime soon
