I'm fitting a PS2 to my in dash screen in the next week and I'm undecided on where to put it, any ideas?
My main 2 ideas are the passenger footwell and on top of the box behind the drivers seat.
I don't want to be cutting and drilling holes etc. I'd like the car to still look stock, and for me to be able to remove the ps2 without leaving any damage.
Anyone already fitted one?
I have my PS2 in my house, where I can play it on my big-ass 32" widescreen TV, I also have my car outside and it has everything I need to drive it
That aside, the newer slim PS2 should fit in the glovebox. http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7925
I know someone who had one in his rev 2 tubby, he put it at the side of the drivers seat...stupidly blocking the engine release catch but ah well each to their own!
Cheers for the responses.
The PS2 is mainly for passenger amusement, my son and nieces and nephews. But I do plan to keep a couple of Billy Connoly and Eddie Izzard dvd's in there to.
So far it looks like behind the driver seat as I'd like to keep the glovebox free for small item storage.
I have fitted a ps2 slimline in my mr2
I found the best place for it is behind the passenger seat. Put it vertically on the back above the storage box/sub stick it on with some very strong double sided tape as this won't cause any damage. It also allows you to easily put the t top in without moving anything.
I'lll take a pic tomorrow to explain better
