ATS TD06

Post by twistywizard »

I have been looking at these Kits

Do they come with an Adaptor for the Turbo to bolt onto the stock manifold or is an entire new Manifold needed?

:)

Also views on these compared to others! Do they suffer from major lag?

This was through the ATS Racing Website

Think it was $2300 Dollars something like that?

http://www.atsracing.net

I realise Customs Fees and Shipping are added however selling a Perfect CT20b would help towards them!

Taken FROM the website...
Each kit includes:

TD06 20G turbocharger

Tial 38mm external wastegate

Machined (not cast) turbo adaptor with wastegate flange

External “dump pipe”

Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel Downpipe

Oil feed line with block adaptor

Oil drain line

Water lines and fittings

Gaskets

Just bolding the obvious. \:D/

Stainless Steel Bolts, nuts, etc.

Cheeky Barstool #-o

Hehe I did notice that but there are all sorts of adaptors for an aftermarket turbo kit like Oil lines etc etc

Just wanted to clarify as If I consider this next year and find out that you need a new manifold would not be good!

You do not need a new manifold for the ATS TD06 (unless your old one is warped or otherwise damaged).

ATS is a great bunch of guys ... click the photo below to get to their site :)

I have this kit fitted, and i must say it's a very complete kit. ATS have recently changed their design to incorperate and improved adapter plate and stainless screamer tube(the screamer is not for the faint hearted BTW  )

This was posted by a guy who runs a screamer pipe on his stock turbo - let me know what it sounds like because I'm at work.

Cheers.

Look like great kits don't they?

And after speaking to nutter and reading reviews from mr2oc.COM , it seems like it produces great results too!

Tis a shame I missed a group buy on another forum otherwise I would have one by now..

The First one sounds awesome but the VW one sounds xxxx!

Nutter if you could post that would be awesome!

Can these kits be adapted to not have a screamer pipe?

Yeah they do look awesome Cliff.

Will have to wait till next year though. The amount I have spent so far since June is just silly #-o

Plus I have a decent ct20b on there so unless that blows soon shall wait till next year!
