Oil Level

I've had my rev3 Mk2 Mr2 for about 4 weeks now and I have just checked the oil level with the dipstick and it is way over the max mark, like almost double.

I've not had any problems with it but I'm guessing this could be trouble. I bought it from a dealer and it had a service and oil change b4 purchasing. I'm a little worried that this could be very bad.

Could the dipstick be going in too far or even be the wrong one? It's very long and has a yellow handle.

If you're not getting loads of smoke from the engine, its probably OK.

But, given you got it from a dealer, I'd take it back and ask them to sort it out - sounds like someone just overfilled it after a service. The MK2 only needs about 4.5 litres of oil after an oil change.
