Re: NORTH east run and meet ;)
As us geordies class newcastle area as north east then why not meet somewhere between us and Hull.
I think mid-way is going to put us somewhere around Richmond, Northallerton, Thirsk or Ripon.
We could head for the coast around Whitby or Scarborough.

When do you see this happening?

Are we going anywhere with this or are people waiting for someone to take control and make decisions on dates and location?

JJ, where you been mate, and dont tell me working all hours.
Have you got that fandabbeedozy car of yours back on the road yet?

OK, down to business.
I'm going to have a word with that masterful north east organiser of ours, cause he doesn't really do any work when he's there, he's busy phoning around trying to find people turbo replacements and surfing ebay for bargain parts.
This is the guy who can turn an almost disaster into an entertainingly HOT experience with a few words from his well educated lips.
(Thats in reference to the burning down of Ambleside rugby club, and no disrespect to Blue2 who organised the outing and got a great turnout, just hadn't researched the BBQ sites).

So Graeme Simpson
(Gtech),
this is the opportunity you were shouting about to show the rest of the IMOCers how these meets should be done.

Watch this space.

JJ,
Well it looks like Graeme has had too much time on his hands again.
Check out the events.
You up for this Kielder weekend?
We promise no tools allowed to be taken so that you get a weekend off work.

Re: NORTH east run and meet ;)
Well if people cant wait that long there is a bit of a Jap car meet in Newcastle.
The venue was going to be indoors

a big hall at the tyne suite? But they cancelled at the last minute so now it is being held at the tuxedo princess and is confirmed with them.

Just thought i'd share this with people.

Here's a flyer for it:
