Fuel regulator on fuel rail not aligning correctly.

Post by Amebb »

Hi Guys.
Not sure if anyone is here to read my thread but here goes.

I am doing some work on my MR2 (Glimited Mk3 Automatic.... K Reg.) where i am refitting the fuel rail. The regulator has been removed and cleaned and when i came to put it back on i cannot get the alignment correct.

What i mean by that is that the regulator has a fuel in pipe that should be facing down the shaft of the fuel rail. Mine is about 90 degrees off.

How can i align this? Any ideas anyone?

Thanks
Amebb

UPDATE

Just to say that i have fixed the issue. There is a nut on the rugulator that has to be tightened when you install your regulator. Mine was stuck. Some WD40 and a blow from the hammer helped.

Thanks for looking!
