OK to ask a couple of questions?

The gt3071r turbo in the earlier pics has a Mark 1 ATP turbine housing for the Evo 8-10...Did you use this turbo complete???

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay in response. I haven't had any automatic updates telling me people had commented on here. I put a dyno chart in a different thread, in modifications I think it was.

The original Evo housing was binned and I went to a 4 bolt 3" housing to allow easy fitment to the XS power manifold.

Cheers, yeah goes well, a bit laggy if i'm honest but when its on boost it goes well!

Got the rear Tein's off at the moment and having them re-furbed as the damping is goosed. The adjustment screw is stuck. Got a few more bits to do over the coming months/year. I'll put any pics up as it progresses.

Hi Jimbob,

Just read your build thread, as am researching my own, which began a few weeks ago; Have posted elsewhere and searched, but I am very interested to learn more about cutting the rear quarters/arches:

I'm trying to find some more pictures of the TRD fitting, I have them on CD somewhere. One of the biggest jobs was to cut then weld the arches and I wanted to put up some images of this.

If you have any of those pics/step by step guide I would be very very grateful??

Miraculously I remembered my password after all this time.

Still got this car and after around 8 yrs off the road I am working my way through a long list of further upgrades and changes. Should be breathing fire again soon. Wheels are away being powder coated, engine bay is being de-cluttered and got a set of brembos and big brake upgrade going on. Can't believe I've owned this car about 16yrs now. Other cars have come and gone, but refused to sell it, even selling my skyline this summer to fund more work.

Funny the car's still laggy, I had the exact same issue when my cam timing was out. Once I fixed that the lag is gone, My turbo is 3076 size too.

I will get more pictures up in the coming weeks. This build thread is almost restarting now!

Cars up and running with new fuel lines. Now tidying up all the vac hoses and ancillaries, fitting a new rad, modifying the water elbow to include a header tank, then redo all the boost pipes in welded v clamp ally.

Wheels will be done this week so I can drive it back into the garage and start the rest of the work. Will keep me busy this winter.

me and my friend have had multiple off ebay, all worked fine.
