[Mk2] [Turbo] upgrading to rev 3 ecu from rev 1

Hi people,

I wanted to see is this possible, as my current car a rev 2 that has a rev 1 ecu in it 17321 the car should have 17380, (ive no idea why someone would do that and probably a rev1 loom which is causing a lot of issues.

i wanted to see whats involved in upgrading?

What i need to buy
What the cost might be
Can i do it being a complete novice.
