Yes - minor rewiring required and it won't control the PAS as a standard ECU would. If you're not using a charge cooler pump on it then you need to "fool" it into thinking there's a pump connected. Also it has a slightly lower fuel cut at high revs.

Gonna be honest I thought that was a pretty good price for a rev3 /st205 ecu.

Prices have been increasing in the last few years - I only paid £35 for my 89661-2B840 ST205 ECU 9 years ago! But if you look on ebay for completed listings, you'll see nothing that low. MR2 turbo rev3 ECUs appear to be selling for more than ST205 ECUs. That said, the sample size is so small it's hard to make conclusions from it.

Yes - and look at the price of the cars. Few years ago (not even 4) rev 3 turbos were £1800. Now they're £7k+.
