If you're not doing mega miles, and very little if any in the winter, have a look at the AD08R(now AD08RS) and NS2R.
Great dry performance, reasonable wet performance.
I do have a full set of Kumho KU31 part worn in those sizes, about 5-6mm left on them.Sat doing nothing, if you can find a reasonable price for a courier
(I'm in Essex) then I'm sure we can work out a very tight Yorkshireman friendly price

I liked the KU31's when they were on the car.Nowhere near the AD08R's of course, but they performed well enough, decent feedback, good in the wet, and not too noisy.
Pretty much what you'd expect from a modern mid range tyre.
