anythings possible with enough money.
pull engine and box, fit two big motors to rear hubs add batterys and control circuits, jobs a goodun.

This might be the future lol, well if mayor khan gets his way we'll be paying
£12.50 every day we drive the car in london.
Current proposal is anything older than 2006 will need to pay the charge!

Would there be a weight reduction? Batteries weigh as much as a block?

Fast acceleration??

Yeah ok you might get down the 1/4 mile faster but i know who would win on a 150-200mile round trip by hrs and hrs.

Electric cars don't really float my boat but a hybrid motor could persuade me especially if the electric motors were used as a kers type boost.

Most of the motors link straight to the oem gearbox so may keep it a bit more intresting however as mentioned a hybrid may be more fun.
