Ive just had her on a dyno and she kicked out a nice 315 bhp.
With a full tank of fuel she weights in a 1250kg.
On a 0-60 calculator this equals 0-60 in 4.25 seconds, so its a seriously quick car. MOT recently done.
Ive also just fitted new rear calipers and brand new rear Carbotech pads at a painful
£200 just for the pads, along with a brand new set of AD08rs at the rear. Chassis has done 85,600miles and is in great condition apart from a small bit of rust on the bottom of the door
(common issue). The forged engine and reconditioned CT20 (with steel shaft and exhaust wheel) have both covered 3,500 miles since the rebuild. I didnt see the point of building a brand new engine and putting an old turbo on it. Bit of background.
I bought the car off Rick on here as I wanted a mint black REV5 and a nice low mileage example to convert to a tubby as I couldnt find any turbos I was happy with.
If any of you know Rick, he keeps his cars incredibly clean and well maintained to the point where I feel bad if I dont wash it every week as a minimum. 2016 The forged engine was then built up and fitted with 86mm CPs on a thick cornered 97-98 NA engine.
I wanted a bullet proof engine and so it had to be 86mm pistons as I didnt want to take any chances!! I then fitted a brand new stock clutch along with a brand new alternator.2016 Ive fitted a brand new Berk Technology exhaust, and a spec 3+ clutch .this cost over
£1,000 and thats with without the fitting costs as well. Nearly every part on this car has been changed for uprated parts and its never let me down or wanted for anything! Its only ever driven on dry days and warmed up correctly before boosting up.
Oil changed every year along with plugs and dizzy cap + rotor arm. Spec list!
