it has rev 3 lights so im going to quad mod them to integrate the fog light, i have obtained a uk rear switch to activate them and im happy wiring them up using a 4 pole relay.my question is my speedo unit has the tell tale symbol in it for the rear fog light so i want to use it as i need one for the mot i'm just not sure how to wire it up, i know i could just earth one side of the bulb in the dash cluster and then run the feed out to the fog light from the switch via the other side of the dash bulb so that will illuminate when the switch is on but it doesn't seem right to me to run the full current through a small dash bulb or is this how it normally works on a uk spec car?
