Thanks mate, do you know what the oil consumption tolerance is on these engines? I seem to have lost a little less than 1/8 th of oil over 1,000 miles. So does 125ml per 1000 miles seem ok? Almost half is motorway driving and the rest is spirited country roads and daily start/stop traffic mileage.

If it's otherwise running fine, no unusual smoke, no signs of any leaks, I wouldn't worry about it. Just monitor it.
