[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 Turbo not holding boost to redline

Hi guys I wonder if someone can help.

I've got a rev 2 turbo with a CT20B turbo, de-cat, hks fcd, manual boost controller which is set at 1.0 bar of boost. However when under full throttle it hits 1 bar of boost but doesnt hold to the red line it dies down to between 0.8 and 0.9 bar. Any ideas why its not holding 1 bar to redline?

Id say boost leak then

Also check the wastegate isnt fouling on the decat

no boost leak found. waste gate operating as it should and isn't fowling the down pipe!

Turn it up a bit more it will spike and come back down

It's not holding for a reason, I'd investigate further before upping the boost, try to get it in somewhere. Any fault codes?

No fault codes atall found, it also over boosts past 1.2 bar at high speed when applying the throttle in 5th gear which leads me to believe it could be the mbc which isnt working correctly?

Its possible, what boost controller are you using? 17.5 PSI is too much without cooling mods and other supporting mods and could result in damage mate.

It's a Mumsby developments mbc. It's set to 1 bar mate but as I say over boots at high speed in 5th.
