JD

- please keep out of things you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Other than to stir things up.

OK

- Kev

, yes

- since talking to you last night I am actually under the inclination that you may or may not

(who knows? youre a stranger to me)
believe
that you sent me a GT3076.
What I will retract is my comments about being
"Fobbed off etc"
- in haste of just being told over the phone I'd essentially been done over and just frustration.
So yeah
- I apologise for that.

Let me please explain my how and whys.

.

.

.

.

.

"It is 1000000% a GT3076" etc etc you can understand my frustration.

I've wasted so much money, time and effort and not had a car to drive trying to wonder why it was so low on power.

.

.

.

because it wasnt the turbo you promised it was over and over and over again.

HOWEVER.

.

.

let's look at the facts

1) your car only made 350hp

- did you not ever wonder why? Now I will check out conversation history

- but Im SURE you told me you verified the Part

#'s.

.

.

.

.

2) I have verified the part number with Scott at ATS who confirmed you have sent me a GT3071.

3) You'll see I previously decided to upgrade and put the turbo up for sale as a GT3076

- BEFORE it had been removed from the car and I found out that it actually wasnt a

'76.

If it was then I wouldnt be in this situation.

4) Being miss-sold the part has so far cost me.

.

.

£250 install

£500 remap

£60 Dyno

£120 removal

/ inspection

/ other items

Now because I thought I had a gt3076, i bought a 0.60 AR compressor and bigger

.82 housing.

so, when the turbo was removed.

.

.

oh guess what

- neither fitted.

So I had to buy a separate GT3076 CHRA.

SO

- I went to PayPal.

You decided to ignore the 10 days and several emails from PayPal Kev, yet the day the case closes get in touch, asking me to close the case and tell PayPal it's in hand????

I requested 50% of the cost back to cover the TURBO from the KIT I bought.

I could have requested 100% but didnt want to be unfair.

Even though the oil lines were no good, and the downpipe cracked after 1 week.

So yeah I thought OK

£500 for an adaptor and a weak downpipe.

Was that unfair?

I had a car in pieces at a garage where I'm being charged an hourly rate so I was shafted into a corner.

so i bought the CHRA to piece the parts together to get the car back on the road and actually have what i thought i had in October.

So

- Ill clearly say here.

.

.

you're a nice guy, but i was just protecting my back.

Look at it from my view

- i find out after months of stress and cash that someone who promised me

(and i trusted) had sold me something had actually sold me a lie

(knowingly or not).

Would you risk it? NO WAY! I took the best course of action to protect myself that I could.

I was expecting you to answer PayPal but heard nothing.

Why didnt you dispute the PayPal flags? They send emails, and even text you to warn you that it's raised.

OK lastly

- there are 2 options:

a) You did NOT sent me the turbo that ATS sold you

b) ATS cocked up.

But one thing has to be clear mate

- even if B happened

- it is not my fault

- and you have passed on something incorrectly to me.

This is not MY fault, and it is a SELLERS responsibility to ensure they have sent the correct item.

Now

- Given that there is the possibility of this

- and even though the PayPal dispute is closed.

.

.

PM me your address and i'll post you back the turbo if you arrange a courier to collect once I have it back.

It will be complete minus a heat shield and some bolts

(apparently they didnt come with my new covers and I was going to buy to replace to sell the turbo complete).

Had you replied to paypal I would have offered this as a solution and withdrawn the turbo from sale immediately.

Lastly

- I have the pictures Kev sent me

- and have pictures of the turbo received, then taken off the car.

you will see they are identical.

I am not a con artist, d!ckhead or anything like that.

I believe strongly in a community trust and do not do things like that for the sake of

£500 which could for all I know devastate someone's financial situation.

All i wanted was a fair result.

I see you're a nice guy and so I offer the turbo back if you want it.

I won't discuss this publically further

- Kev please feel free to PM me if you wish.
