Again not chronologically posted, but I finally decided the cheap S2000 cone

filter the car came with needed replacing with something a little more

upmarket.

Managed to get hold of this near mint Apexi Power intake with heat
shield and brace for

£80.

Had 5ltr's of filter cleaner left over from my KTM
so cleaned the filter thoroughly and fitted.

This was fitted prior to mapping.

Then Fitted with the brace to hold it in place which works perfectly.

This weekend however I managed to get a few little tasks done that had built

up over Xmas and one much larger

!
First up was to fit the Tegiwa MC brace that I ordered shortly after having the

all new brake setup fitted.

Tegiwa actually sent it with bolts to short and

after calling to ask them to send the correct ones and receiving ones even

worse I decided to bite the bullet and pay for them myself.

Here is the kit as I received,

And with a few assemblies and reassemble attempts to make sure its perfect
and doing its job, Used Nylock nuts to make sure of no movement.

Then onto fitting the HID kit that I had purchased from

"Team Elemental"

Along with 4 new White 501 dash LED's and two White LED interior light bulbs

The HID KIT was a direct H4 replacement and very easy to fit, I decided to cut into the rubbers

that mount on the rear of the headlight unit to allow for the wiring to pull through,

and protect the rear of the headlight.

And fitted, running full beam compared to the Osram Nightbreaker H4 bulbs
I was already running.

Interior light's fitted, really a night and day difference

!

And the dash LED's fitted, replacing cheap Ebay ones that had failed and

gave of a purplish hue.

Photo doesn't do these any justice, much better.

and no hotspots

!

Finally the biggest Job which I actually tackled first, I had painted the callipers

black in the past to protect and for visual reasons, however with new callipers

they needed doing again.

I decided on another colour and went for this light

grey.

Jacked the car up onto stands

( which takes 3 jack's due to front end height

!

)

and stripped the brakes down to give access for painting.

Final results

!

Just received the black TRD heat resistant decals to apply this weekend.

Oh and one other thing, the cars going to be on YouTube
