My lil girl - Minxy

Hi All, Just picked up my gal last night and fallen in love with her already.
I used to have mr2s when i was young free and single but then i moved abroad, came back, got married and got boring.
Anyway I have named her Minxy 'cause she is a naughty lil minx and keeps making me push the loud pedal more and more! haha!

She's a 1993 UK spec Mk2 Rev2

Plans are just to tidy her up to be honest. I just want something nice and that i can look at and smile

Well i have been driving a 1.9tdi VW Passat Estate before so MASSIVE difference and already loving her so much. Point and shoot!
Needs a re-spray, few bits of rust but sills are good.

Might be worth keeping the passat diesel for the daily slog, especially when you're doing work on the 2. They just aren't ideal as an only car.

sadly already sold the Passat. we do have another car in the family and my wife and i work similar hours near to eachother so can do lifts if we need to at any point.

If you can work it then that is all good. These cars are getting on a bit so things break.

yeah, my power steering went this morning!
Hopefully it's a simple fix.

Check fluid fuses etc..

done the key 'fix', checked fluids and fuses, all looks ok so looking at it being relay, motor or pump.
bypass relay to test is next on my list. Then sit and cry

Bet it is a stuck relay.
