Assuming you've just got an xbrace fitted, this just bolts straight on, no holes to drill.
If you've fitted a different "tower" brace, you my need to play around with it a bit to ensure clearance as you close the lid.
Here's a picture I've found of it fitted to my old n/a.
As you can see the top bracket was originally much thicker, but I'm afraid I swapped that with a thinner bracket that was on my turbo. There's just a bit too much flex in the thin bracket for my liking.
