mystery pipe?

mystery pipe?

anyone know what this pipe is? or why it's not connected to anything? or why it's so sticky? :pale:

just doesn't look normal as it's transparent

its the bleed hose for the cooling system.

its attached to the heater bleed point in your picture.
most of the time you just find them tied up in the front compartment somewhere.

you have may have 2???
the other goes to the bleed point on the radiator.

yes there are 2. I assume it's not supposed to be on there all the time?

doesnt really matter.
long as that valve is shut, no harm leaving it as is.
or just remove and tie them up somewhere or put in your tool box.
