Braided clutch line

Hi folks, I bought a goodridge braided clutch line , it came with an automotive fitting to fit the braided line to the slave cylinder, does this fitting need a crush washer between the fitting and slave cylinder there isn't one in the kit. The slave side of the fitting is a square flush fitting the line side is tapered so will seal ok
