Misting of oil is ok but not puddles. Check the intake side and is the breather pipe connected.

Hi i will check tomorrow the intake side, i checked about 1000-1500 miles ago and no oil, slight play on shaft, but felt tight controlled play and not rattlie play if makes sense. By breather do you mean one with oil catch can, if so yeah still there.

I have a on going problem with slight boost leak and soon will blank iff my bov, i just thought this would definitely be worth mentioning

Right guys iv had the intake side off and there is a very dark dryish greasy residue present. There is also a light coating/ misting of oil in hose coming from oil catch to intake. Is this all normal.

Thought id mention all My mods, scorpion exhaust, decat, apexi intake, omori boost gauge

its normal for light misting.

me personally i prefer venting the pcv gases to atmos.
oil mist will contribute to lowering your octane.

you can at least eliminate the cause of oil being there (as opposed to turbo seals going) by venting it.

this is mine, i didnt even have to wipe anything, intake pipe straight off the other day to check and clean the air filter after i installed the (secondhand+original) turbo back in january.

shows turbo health and in turn its seals in great shape
