Just been looking at the Sard mc8, looks cool! looks a bit like a Honda NSX and I love those too.
Did any of these rare beast ever end up on the road and if not has anyone tried to make a standard sw20 look like one with any success?
Of course it would be limited as allegedly the Sard is lengthened?
Also got to say I really like the TRD2000gt's front bumper, would love one of those in Super white.

only 1 road car ever made afaik.
even then, it wasnt overly close in terms of looks to the actual race car.
but it was lengthened.
it was for sale on japan auction 6months or so ago, looking a bit ropey.

Ropey wasnt the word for it, it looked like they cobbled it together in a hurry just so they could say a roadcar existed
Which is a shame because you wouldve thought that a company like SARD would've had the resources to make it better than it was.

That's pretty much exactly what it is. It's not just SARD who do this either!

Once the Supra is done, I'll be looking into an MR2 Sw20. Moving the rear wheel back but not extending the shell, just moving the lower half of the rear quarter back and using CarBen Arches so I can extend the Track.
