I see you're a 400hp user with no cracks. .... I'm convinced it's the best protection

coolingmist, bog standard stage1 small kit.

nothing fancy. (maybe it was £140, cant remember).
prices may have changed now, i dont know.

doesnt come with a tank, think i got that separate.

other kits from coolingmist obviously have progressive controllers, tanks etc higher up the price range you go.

yeah thats interesting. If its not progressive, wouldnt it in effect be bunging in way to much at lower psi then potentially not enough at high?

pump is on or its off.
so at high boost/rpm, it will be pumping in what the wi injector is designed to pump in.
whether or not it is progressive.

so there wont be a too much too low, not enough up high, because up high is based on the pump and injector size.

is progressive better, maybe, but i dont have mine turn on till like near 1bar.

if im at wot, i want it on, and given spool time, going from for example 7-15psi on a progressive is instant anyway, so a progressive for me is pointless.
unless your progressive is based on rpm with an ECU?
if its based on boost, to be fair, most turbos are instant in the boost you see.

This is what my I/C looks like, temps on a hot dyno day never went over 30.

But charlie reccons the MR2's make best reliable power and torque with a decent charge cooler.

I will no doubt add a charge cooler element to the last run of my boost pipes one day (bit like the Escort Cosworth), and W/I sounds like a winner too.
