Hi
My power steering would work intermittently.
It's worked fine the past few weeks now the dreaded red light is back on.
What should I check?
Thanks for any advice.

Re: Power steering fault
I've had an similar issue and it was caused by a small leak from the coolant hose above the power steering motor dripping onto one of the connections.

Re: Power steering fault
I think this is a relay issue, I had this once a while ago. Turn the ignition on and off at least 20 times and hopefully this will cure it. If this fails try a new relay.
Re: Power steering fault
Yes, I agree on the relay issue maybe even clean the contacts and replace.
However, it's easy enough to check the fluid level and it'll tell you if there is a leak.

Mine was the relay too, cleaned all the connections, and apart from one blip seems to be holding up.
