It's a bit old but the advice is still sound. Read this:

Gen 2
Intake
Exhaust
Smic
Chipped ecu like a blitz or whatever
Ct20b
Plus boost controller (and a bored rail for safety)
=275rwhp roughly

If you want more then you need a walbro 255 pump, injectors, fuel pressure regulator and standalone.

Meth injection would also be helpful from a safety perspective and/or a boost increase.

Or, do a gen3 with s252 or a gt3071.

You also want to swap over all the ecu electronics etc from rev 3 to run map.

Head gasket likely to go on rev 2 so have some money spare for that.

If shooting for higher numbers forged pistons will be on the menu.
