Thought I'd post on here as I'm about at the end of my tether with my Rev 3 Turbo track car which has been put together over winter.

It was a Rev 1 turbo, but has a forged Rev 3 engine transplant

(inc Rev 3 loom through to front passenger well), GTX30 turbo kit etc etc.

It's running sweet, idles perfect, no smoke etc but it just won't rev over 5.5k rpm when stationary.

As the boost is set by the actuator, through 1st and 2nd it also runs very rough at around 5.5k rpm but as it isn't road legal testing it is a bit of an issue.

So this is what I've done so far;

1.

Hot and cold compression check

- all good
2.

New plugs
3.

New leads
4.

New dizzy and rotor
5.

New Rev 3 coil and igniter pack
6.

Checked resistance on injectors

- all good
7.

Check injector resistor pack

- all good

The only thing I haven't swapped out is the ECU, but it seems to run fine below 5.5k rpm and there are no fault codes logged.

Is there something form the Rev 1 to 3 turbo conversion that I've missed that could be causing this?

I haven't repined anything

- just plugged the looms in.

I've missed my first track day and am all out of ideas!
