Map for Link G3 (mods listed)

Post by Bezly »

Hi,

I'm looking for a map for my Link G3.

Rev 3, greddy intercooler, apexi intake, berk downpipe, nur spec, grade 7 sparks.

Anyone got a map going and I will let Sheppy know who's sorting it out.

Cheers
Bezly

There's a base map going on the ecu but does anyone have anything a bit more driveable until he gets a remap?

For 550s.

You are best of looking on here

http://forums.linkecu.com/index.php?/fo ... g3/&page=1

i think i have a base map for a Link G4 (not Link G4+) but i doubt its any good for you.

You MUST stay on your OEM ecu until you can find someone to map it. Its very dangerous for your engine to do otherwise. No sense in being hasty and putting a base map from a different ECU i.e. G4.

Do things in order, update your ECU from that website to the latest version

For that spec I would leave it running on stock management until the car reaches the mapper and then you can fit the new management up and let the mapper do his thing.

The map is for driving it to the mappers guys. I'm not sure if you could do that with a base map and wouldn't want to recommend it. Hence wanting something more driveable. :thumleft:

Although ECU is plug and play so I guess no issue whatsoever to use stock management for getting around.

Bez, it's a plug and play unit - leave it on stock management, drive it to the mapping place on stock management, swap in the G3 when you get there.

^^^^ This, this is what i did.

To be honest, you have standard turbo and i think 550cc injectors as opposed to 540cc standard injectors?

Why the need for a aftermarket ecu if you are pretty much standard?
We take alot for granted running OEM ecu, i think your car will run better with OEM at your level. Sure when you get a bigger turbo and injectors switch to the Link

Just don't understand why you want to run the Link
