Would anyone have a pic of the bonnet prop/stay fiixing location?

Post by Mr2Owner »

I need to fit the standard bonnet prop/stay onto my Mr2, but can't see whre it actually is supposed to fix to on the engine bay side. I think i found the slot it goes to on the engine lid but dont see any obvious location for the other end.

Would anyone have a picture of their engine lid up with the prop in position by any chance so I can see where it attaches? :)

So it connects onto the tower, Thanks very much for them pics. I was looking for a spot near the back of the engine bay for it next the boot. Cheers :)

Nice engine bay by the way :D

Thanks. I've done a bit more tidying up since that photo was taken, changed all the VAC hoses for blue silicon, and fitted a catch can and cusco brace. But this shot shows the attachment point for the stay much clearer than more recent ones.

There should also be a small arrow on top of the o/s tower to show where it goes, but that may be missing on yours.
