Post by simpson_eh »

Hi all

before i start ripping my pillers apart thought id ask for any ideas

got a leak in the 2 but its not coming from the window seal its dripping on the inside handle on the pillar by the windscreen, runs down the handle then off. is there any drainage holes that could be blocked its a tin top

cheers

tony
If you see an MR2 with a raised engine cover, the bottom line is it's probably faster than your car.

My previous tin top had a leak. Carpet was wet under the floor mats. No obvious signs of where it was coming from.

Turned out to be a door aperture seal that was old and not sealing properly.

Fitted a new one from Mr T and it was sorted.

Worth looking into.
