John Ashley Exhausts in Walsall did my custom roadster one (the one you messaged me about on FB)... They also recently made up a sports cat section with enlarged flexis for my mates 2zz

He was on telly the other day making up an exhaust for the R33 on Car SOS.

Car is booked in at JP exhausts in Macclesfield on Friday. Not the cheapest but known to be pretty reliable. Decided on a 3" system to future proof the car as don't want to end up needing a new system if I ever go for more power.
Can already tell boost creep is likely to be the next issue on the ct20b if the exhaust does cure my low boost issue as I expect it will.

Hmm, I remember you mentioning the boost creep at JAE, but I think your right about future-proofing. More power in this must essentially be like fitting a rocket to a skateboard.

Exhaust looks fantastic

Sounds like the 3inch is working out
(That's what she said).

Hopefully get some testing done once the snow has gone and have a bit of dry road. Want to see what difference ct20b makes on yours as I think I'm only the ecu and fuel regulator away from your spec now basically.
Re: 3SGTE Roadster - update 13.2 @ 108mph 1/4 mile
I thought I'd updated my thread, maybe not.
Anyways it for sure is a little less laggy now, and I haven't lost out on any top end what what I can tell over that large ct26 hybrid.
All in all I'm confident ive picked up a fair chunk of area under the curve.
Turbo spools louder which I wasn't expecting, fun though, torque feels good too.
I even cranked it up to 1.3bar today and car likes it.
I'm probably on the fine line, but am running 80/20 water meth injection and a turbo blanket to help things alone.
Dyno in few weeks.

I am running a turbo blanket too but mainly to stop my bulkhead and soft top getting too hot to touch!
I want to see the difference in your 1/4 mile times with the 20b. Assume you are planning to try it at Pod this year?

Not sure when, but I will have another bash on the 1/4 this year.
Need a better clutch first, cv's.
Maybe even go CC too.
I assume you'll be trying this year.
In a lightweight mk3, should be quick.

Yeah I'll be having a go but it will be at York. Hope to get into the very late 12's.
Few jobs to do still though as I want some way of monitoring intake temps, injectors cleaning, split cv boot to fix etc.
I'm a little worried about my outer CV's as ST185 ones aren't meant to be the strongest.

Re: 3SGTE Roadster - update 13.2 @ 108mph 1/4 mile
So this has been taking my attention over the last few months, new wheels and hardback seats colour coded.
With Steve Horrocks new car (missing in action off here I think).
Realised I'm likely to miss another season of drag racing with the MR2 so got my finger out last night to replace the badly split CV boot. (MOT due next month as well ).
What a messy, soul destroying job. Looked great with my black hands in my team meeting today.
Have decided I don't understand the AVCR enough to set it up properly so going to find a dyno who can do it so I can get a power figure at the same time and also have the fuelling checked.

Colour coded seat hardback looks really cool!

need to get that 60ft down, then high 12s, easy.
