I can't hear it when idle, nor when driving normally, but I know it's coming from the bottom of the engine/engine bay somewhere. The car in general is also absolutely fine.- thanks. I'm starting to worry it's coming from the engine.. The outside mesh is split in some places and it generally looks a little poo.. Give it a poke and find out Also, when i got my rev3 it started these symptoms. The turbo was loose at the manifold!! It honestly sounds like something is very finely "flickering" on idle coming from the intercooler. It sounds like a weird flakey noise, and that is where it sounds like it's coming from when I'm going at speed or under boost. "loose" part or whatever is being affected by the wind. So, if I'm accelerating hard, it will make the noise, and if I'm going like 70mph.. officer.. I can hear it. This can either be an engine issue, or the vibrations from that amount of revs onwards causing something to rattle.. So, I'm a little grateful it's not currently the top end I imagine it's basically f***ed.
