AFAIK, yes.
Although there's different ones for climate control
(JDM), aircon
(rare UK option) and non-aircon.

Sometimes Toyota change designs mid-production run
(eg aerial units on rev3 turbos).

Not sure about the import climate control units.

I have had 2 cars with these and one does just what I want and other kinda mucks about for a while and is less responsive with the temperature control.


Both units look the same from the front.
I dont think it needed a re-gas as it could do quite a cool temp when it felt like it, but it preferred to do something a bit more cosy or try and slow cook me

Mechanic familiar with mr2s looked at it and couldnt find anything wrong.



Not sure about the import climate control units.

My car is a uk Rev 2 UK no air on and the other heating control unit is out of a Rev 1 no air on either.

I found that I could attach the cables onto the rev2+
