So the car had been left for 8 hours.Starting up the car, it took a little longer than usual before igniting and starting, where I had to then put a little throttle in and it would pick up and start, because the car would almost die if I didn't feel fuel into the car.
The drive back was fine, she pulled and drove really well. (My commute to work is awesome when there's no traffic 
)I recently had an incident with running out of fuel, and before you laugh, my fuel gauge is apparently inaccurate, as I wasn't even on empty and she ran out.
The fuel gauge also doesn't read above half, even on a full tank.However, I knew I had loads of fuel because I had only done 40 miles since a 40L fill just a couple of days ago.
Any ideas as to what this could be? It does actually happen more often than not.
It doesn't do it on a stone cold start, say after 12+ hours, but it will do if it's starting back up again after say 8 or less hours, and more than a couple..Cheers
