Engine mounts for a track car... Which ones?!

Post by J-1 »

I'm looking for good engine mounts that's suitable for my track car, but not sure which ones are worth buying...

I've found these, but reluctant to blow 350 quid on them.

Is there a cheaper, but equally durable engine mount kit on the market that's been tried and tested?

Appreciate any advice!

Arent those both the same kit?

Those look pretty neat, i'd be looking at those if I didnt have my trd mounts. They seem worth the money seeing as they come with brackets and not just the inserts like most.

Isnt the cheapest option filling the std mounts with urethane

I've been using urethane mounts from Speed Source a while ago.

Pros: I had the feeling that engine power was sent to the floor instantly.

Cons: Big engine vibrations were sent into the cockpit in the 800 - 1000 rpm range.

I think those kind of mounts could suit your needs :-k

Hux Racing solid mounts. Was looking at these today for mine. Might be a bit extreme for a road going car though :-k
