charcoal cannister removal

Still removing weight from the Rev5 na..
just got rid of the EGR

Seen people talk about removing the canister...
how do you go about doing this and what are the benefits?

Sorry for being dum .. do you mean the charcoal canister ? never ran mine ... no problems .. :thumleft:

Just blank off the pipes .. .. i had a tuby so not sure if i can help :-k

I removed my canister and blocked the vacuum hoses then joined the top and bottom hose together.

My understanding is its there to vent pressure from the fuel tank but apparently by joining the pipes it still vents somewhere under the car, could be wrong but not had any problems with my N/A with it removed. :thumleft:

Yes that is the way to do it.
