Now very rare Beams Red Top 1998 original car not an engine transplant only 73500 Miles
Really dont want to sell this car as took me ages to find a good Beams but purchase of an apartment forces a reluctant sale.
This was going to be a project car as it is a good solid base to start from. Has receipts and also service history and original auction certificate from its import. I fitted a Thatcham Cat 1 Autowatch alarm after purchase.
I don't want to sell to anyone, I have turned down a good offer because they wanted to break it for parts ..not going to happen. I want to see her go to someone who will keep her going. I was looking to get around £4000 but open to a sensible offer.
This car is pretty much stock apart from the wheels, the 5Zigen Pro exhaust and has been lowered by the previous Jap owner with springs. I have had the geometry properly set up.

The car has original paintwork hence a few scrapes from morons who cant park properly but nothing major. I have front and rear import bumpers to replace the ones fitted from another Rev 5 due to said morons. These are included in the price if you want them.

Engine bay heat shields recently shot blasted and powder coated in chrome as is the stock anti roll bar
New air idle control valve
newly refurbed Rare 3 piece staggered fit Stern Schneider 5 spoke 17" split rims with polished lip 7.5J and 8J
Brand new Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tyres less than 200 miles. 225 front 245 Rear
5Zigen Pro Race back box with CAT (rare)
Original interior with like new seats
Original Man in Dandism matts
Original Man in Dandism window film to sides and rear (rare)
Lowering spring already fitted from import
New fluids change - engine oil and filter, transmission fluid, engine coolant, brake fluid
Brake calipers stripped down and refurbed with new rubber boots and pads.
New handbrake cables
New alternator and belt
New cambelt
New engine coolant pump
New NGK iridium sparkplugs
New air filter
Both starts and drives great
Advisories -
Rear quarter on drivers side has lacqure peel but not an expensive fix
Slightly high idle at times

That is one really nice Beams, if I was in the market for another MR2 at the mo I'd like that car. About 200 bhp if the memory is working today so basically a mid engined rwd Type R in power

Thanks. Yes it is a great car and 200 bhp reported anyway, but no not a Type R ive had Type R's plenty of times amusing to see the confused look they give you when you keep up with them and then pull away smiling. These things are quick.
