I've seen it done  I'm sure pictures will be along soon enough.

I read that you were running a twin-wastegate setup so I went and found your thread on mr2oc and spent a couple of hours trawling through it to find some info. There's a GT4 WRC manifold on ebay at the moment that I considered doing the 4 into 1 wastegate setup with, until I found the ATP special turbine housing.

I never got round to implementing that idea... as I don't weld and I needed to package it all underneath a charge cooler, it became a non-starter compared to a replacement turbine housing. My solution isn't perfect, but it's working which means I can crank up the boost and enjoy the car without worrying about fuel cut :thumleft:

On the subject of noise (I'm using a KO Racing R1 single exit), I am thinking of having a high flow cat welded into the downpipe to try and quieten it down a bit, but im worried about it affecting the readings to my wideband sensor :-k Thats a project for another day though. I can live with noise, I cant live with boost creep

If the bung physically restricts the exhaust exit completely down to 2.5" (which is stock exhaust size coincidentally) as mine did then I suspect you will notice some improvement.

Shinny - thanks for explaining how you sorted the boost creep out with the dual wastegates. I still have my old GT28RS turbo kit lying about so once the CT20b goes on the car I just bought it may be time to try it again

I want to try it just with stock ECU this time rather than go full standalone again, so a way to keep GT28rs boost under 18psi would be good!

I'm on an ST205 ECU with ST205 Charge Cooler and GT2860RS kit... engine hasn't blown up yet!

However you can feel the need for a remap around 2000-4000rpm. Also the ST205 ECU is known to fuel a bit safer when coming on boost.
