No idea why mate. I'm going to print that picture and make sure the pins are in the right place on the plug.

I've got to swap the MPH clock with my old Import one as I have a KPH to MPH convertor for 180MPH clock. I drove to Peterborough yesterday and after 30mph, it was misreading, at 60mph, I was actually doing 83mph. I was thinking why everyone was driving so slow not realising until I got my phone out and opened the speed reader app. And there was speed cameras lol.

I have the rest of the loom if you need more pictures of the other plugs.

I think you will only need to remove the convertor with the uk clock

I think im getting somewhere, someone has been p1$$ing around with the brown plug, so I switched over the blue/white and blue/red so now the correct light is coming on.

However, O/D light isn't working at all still so I urgently need the picture of the brown plug so I can see which cables go into it, someone has re-arranged them for some odd reason.

Any chance you could whatsapp me or text me (07989 025916) the picture? I've got the cluster out and need to put everything back by 3 as I need to use the car.

Cheers for all your help so far mate!

Firstly, a big thank you to you madbasshunter for the pictures of the plugs, it saved me a lot of time of testing each cable!

Its fixed the MANU, PWR and O/D off lights on the speedo. Its also fixed 3-4 other warning lights that I didn't know that were there! The brown plug was a mess, it looks so tatty as someone has been messing around with it.

However, I re-arranged the pin on the brown plug and then had two extra cables which was a white/red (live) and a red/orange wire (no current). I didn't know what they were for and putting them into the spare space in the brown plug which blew the fuse twice and burnt out the MPH clock. Luckily I had the speedo clock one you sent me which I have fitted for now but need to work around why its miss-reading after 30mph, I think is because I have the 180mph convertor delimiter fitted. I have isolated the two spare wires, couldn't find what they are for, pressed every button in the car and no change.

Is there a way I could get the 160MPH to work and read accurately?

Also on the grey plug, there is two red/grey dotted cables which have been fiddled with. When you switch them over, the ABS light stays on. Now they maybe an issue with the ABS system but before I reverse the wires again, is there a test I can do to see if there is a problem with the ABS system? Like the engine check paper clip test?

Can I buy the loom with the plugs to the speedo off you, mine are a mess and I want to cut them and solder new plugs.

Update:

Delimiter removed, the UK clock is now working accurate - cheers madbasshunter.
The ABS light is now on, but I will open a new thread for that as I think this is another whole issue.

Cheers guys for all your help and advise, almost fixed all issues. Hopefully this ABS is more simple. Thanks again! :)
