Chargecooler core

Post by Martin F »

I would like to get my intake temps down as low as i can, i have the radtec system in the car.
I was originally thinking about putting a 2nd core in between the radtec core and throttle body https://www.frozenboost.com/air_water-i ... 3cd0be2853
but after seeing Craigs chargecooler (RedMR²) i am thinking of getting one similar to fit in between the turbo and throttle body.

I was thinking something along the lines of this... https://www.frozenboost.com/air_water-i ... 3cd0be2853

I have plenty of space without the standard engine lid, would this work ok ? (i can make it fit).

Are frozenboost chargecoolers ok ?

Anybody know of a better option or can give me better advice ?

Thanks in advance :thumleft:

the first one would be fine, the second one is huge, and probably overkill! the main issue I can see with it, would be the angle of hose required to mate the outlet with the throttle body.

this

size wise will be much closer to the style that Redmr2 has..

Are they ok? yeah, I'd say so.. there's plenty of people out there using them and making big numbers
