Can't seem to find much info on here, but has anyone successfully installed a pedal box into an MR2 Mk2?
I want a brake balance control system, and everything seems to suggest getting a pedal box with the master cylinders behind the pedals.
I guess this would mean a complete brake overhaul in terms of lines etc.

..the only thing I can promise for sure is slow progress.

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Don't think you need one, wouldn't a brake proportioning valve on the line to the rear brakes do the trick?

Ah, much cheaper options, though the pedal box will also replace my (probably) aging master cylinder.
Would this be an option:

I'd like to control it remotely too, so maybe some kind of stepper motor assembly could be added?

Stepper motor not required. Take a look here:

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Pedal Boxes and Balance Bars
Doesn't that require a balance bar?

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Pedal Boxes and Balance Bars
Personally I would just have the proportioning valve in the vicinity of the gear lever, it would be easy to route the rear brake pipe to it then back into the tunnel...no need for any remote twisty lever knob thingy-me-whatsits...
