Larger Front Calipers on a Re1 Turbo ?

Post by IMR2T »

Both my front calipers have a seized piston.

I always intended to upgrade to the larger Turbo brakes in the longterm(ideally all four at the same time due to the whole brake balance)

1. Would I notice a distinct difference in braking performance with the larger brakes or only slight?

2. If I only change the fronts calipers just now(mot is due) will that cause me major grief with stability under braking?

Brakes on Rev2+ are all the same, N/A and Turbo.

If your in Glasgow it's easy enough as I work in town mate.

Will these calipers bolt straight on my Rev1 or are the carriers different?

Not sure about the carriers but you'll also need the bigger discs to go with the later calipers and pads to suit
