Scratch that it's sit nice at 5.3 until it's going some but I've never travelled that far whilst not looking at the road :') now I've set that it's come up with SE7 in the top right and has 5.3 psi blinking, what do I put in here? Is this the same thing or just the next step - max boost

SE7 means set your most stable boost setting if 5.3 was it hit enter .. remember its stable boost not creep or spiking like we talked about .. you do need to do the run looking at the boost gauge , scary stuff i know.

Ps. 5.3 sounds good to me :thumleft:

What about this percentage that appear afterward? I've left that at 100%?

I'd Google mr2 turbo head gasket removal you will find a few videos and a link to when Jim did his head gasket. You will need new head bolts and all sorts so make sure you have it all before you start. Once you have your car running on decent boost enjoy it for a bit get the summer out of the way and do any work in the winter when it's less fun to drive an mr2.

Got this on my st205 exactly how i've described should make no difference :-k .. resetting the ecu is always a good idea when you change something .. boost control makes no difference to idle .. and i feel awful now :(

Now it's reading 0.0 all the time but it was fine once I left work it's just as I got in, I think something may have come loose, any ideas what and where though? The harnesses are fine and it still has power

Vacuum line .. maybe to the hks solenoid .. doing a full throttle pull may have popped it off .. had this happen many times ](*,)

And what shall I put b to? Or just leave that and keep using A for now? :) I'll put it to 10 to be safe :)

So I am I so relieved! Bloody hose! Pod filter is going on tonight as well and exhaust later this month but intercooler may have to wait a while :)

The best thing I did to my old 2 was to get rid of the electronic boost controller. They are a ticking time bomb waiting to damage your engine. Get rid and do it properly with an aftermarket ECU, mapped correctly. :thumleft:
No 2 :(
