Jan 1995 REV3 UK car - SRS airbags?

Hi folks

Do UK MR2s have SRS lights on the dash?

My car has a standard steering wheel with an SRS logo on it, and I've read that MR2s airbags might be different to 'normal' ones - something about it being contained and not having sensors on the bumper area or something? Not 100% on the details.

I know the previous owner replaced various aftermarket bits from the car, and I am wondering if the steering wheel in my car actually has a working airbag in it.

If curiosity gets the better of you remember to disconnect the battery and leave for 30mins to allow for any stored energy to disperse iirc.
